eCommerce Manager – DickiesLife – Stabio, TI

You will help to shape the future of the online shop and be responsible for their growth by delivering the online sales and margin plan. You constantly focus on improving customer experience, usability and creating an ‘on brand’ shopping environment.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the DickiesLife online P&Ls working closely with Finance Department on plans and forecasting
  • Manage all financial aspects including sales goals, budget, inventory management, supplier invoice management and reconciliation
  • Partner with Finance, Marketing and Planning Departments to forecast weekly/monthly sales, margins and review financial reporting
  • Create strategies to deliver targets, eg: sales, margin, contribution and inventory turns, working closely with all departments to help achieve these
  • Continuously improve online customer experience and usability to build a seamless, enjoyable shopping environment
  • Frame and map opportunities based on historical results and current trends to maximize sales
  • Analyze KPIs, sales results, analytics and inventory to build action plans based on results
  • Work with the team to develop a successful trading content plan for the website to ensure that campaigns are in line with market trends. This will be recognised through the delivery of like for like sales and weekly margin targets that reflect the key seasonality and events
  • Create tactical activity and development at Country level to maximize local expectations and shopping experience
  • Work closely with the eCommerce Central Team (ECT) who support the website teams on projects and roadmaps and who also manage the website agency
  • Bring the websites up to parity against strong online competition
  • Create a distinctive USP and compelling brand experience to get shoppers to want to buy on the brand site and make repeat purchases
  • Identify areas for improvements post purchase relationship management
  • Work closely with Customer Service team and identify opportunities on transactional emails and notifications
  • Work with logistics teams to improve order processing, fulfilment and returns process
  • Work closely with marketing teams to ensure they support business requirements and deliver rich content
  • Have strong customer focus and spearhead overall strategic positioning to follow industry trends and maximize customer value
  • Help build brand awareness and traffic driving opportunities. Strong focus on customer acquisition and retention
  • Understand the business impact of a highly competitive SEM landscape, looking at ways to protect trademark and work with internal wholesale teams to agree on online seller strategy


  • Bachelor or university degree or equivalent through experience
  • Knowledge of the fashion industry an asset
  • Minimum 3 years experience in an eCommerce or digital environment with a focus on achieving business results.
  • Experience in using Google Analytics is important. History of setting up relevant reports a bonus
  • Experience with the Magento platform is plus
  • Insights and knowledge of the evolving omni-channel landscape and eCommerce Universe
  • Target driven individual with great agency and people management skills
  • Create great team spirit getting the best out of people and help develop talent, a real teamplayer
  • Able to weigh up short and long term business goals, actions, challenges and benefits
  • Financial skills, comfortable with numbers and reporting to the business
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
